Troubles With Code=227?
Hey everyone.
Today I tried to log into my GW account, but it said it didn't work because of 'Code=227'. Code=227 : We don't recognize your account information. Please try again. I, however, didn't change ANY of my account 'Remember Me?' information, so I don't know why I'm having troubles. I, then, went to 'Reset Password' to, of course, reset my password. It directed me to PlayNC to change my password on a PlayNC account, which, of course, I forgot my username and password since I made it 3 years ago specifically for Guild Wars, but this is the only time, I've actually needed to use it. I sent a ticket to support and it came back with this message: Quote:

i've had the same situation, if u provide your keys, name, and birth date, its enough for them to reset your password
took me 3 day for the reset, |

just tried resetting that password says to contact support, dunno if its talking about plaync support or GW support, if you only at least remember the account name youd be able to send it to you.

Ok I have put in every one of my Gw keys: EoTn, Nightfall,Factions, and the first one. and every time it says invalid. and have rechecked them ALOT. does it need a slash " - " or a space or what nothing is working...

the earlier post was about the ncsoft website. not the game.

If you are requesting a change of password at the log in screen on Gw it will auto send a new pass to the Email that is affiliated to the account ...so check your Email it may be even in the Junk Folder ..
If you log in on your NC Master account and are successful then you have the option to change it there also look at what accounts are listed on the right hand side of the page If it only 1 then you will be asked to enter a new password in the box area on the left to include your old password. |

had the same code error last week. - took almost a week to get a password reset.
kinda hoping I got hacked tbh, otherwise gonna be seriously pissed with PlayNC as I now have no obby armor, cash, ectos or rares |
